This project was a major renovation to the existing home. Because it was sitting in a railway corridor beside the rail line we still had to leave some of the subfloor and were not allowed to knock the entire house down.
We removed the whole upper floor and dug out all underneath. We then extended all of downstairs and put a new top floor on.
We used a recycled brick downstairs mixed with some Rockote acrylic texture render and upstairs was a mix of Monument matt colorbond cladding with some merbau horizontal cladding.
The home was perched up on a hill in the trees with a beautiful outlook over the ocean and escarpment.
