This project was to create a new energy-efficient home that included a stand-alone power supply, rain-fed domestic water supply and onsite waste water management system.
The intended thermal performance of the building is designed to exceed the level certified in the NatHERS protocols and requires additional measures to control for air-tightness, insulation and to limit thermal bridging.
We had lots of obstacles to overcome on this job to achieve the energy rating and for it to be self sufficient.
