From handcrafted timber features to luxury fittings, every element was carefully planned.
Reclaimed & Imported Timber
The use of recycled hardwood throughout the home not only adds warmth and character but also tells a story of history and craftsmanship. One of the standout features is the 200-year-old hardwood ceiling lining and exposed beams in the dining room, sourced and imported from overseas. These rare materials took up to 12 months to arrive, requiring meticulous planning long before construction even commenced.
Award-Winning Staircase
A true centrepiece of the home, the grand staircase is a masterpiece of design and precision. Blending stone, recycled hardwood, and intricate joinery, it was a feat of engineering and craftsmanship. In 2019, it was recognised as the best staircase in Australia by the Master Builders Association, a testament to the skill and attention to detail poured into this build.
Luxury Kitchen & Bathroom
No expense was spared in the heart of the home, with the kitchen a showcase of fine materials, expert joinery, and elegant design. From the end of the island bench, where the natural beauty of the hardwood is on full display, to the custom cabinetry and stone finishes, every inch of the space was thoughtfully executed.
The bathroom is equally as stunning, featuring a copper bath and sink that serve as striking focal points, bringing warmth and old-world charm to the space.
Double-Glazed Windows & Sustainable Design
Beyond aesthetics, this renovation was also about longevity and quality. Double-glazed windows provide insulation and energy efficiency while allowing the home to be bathed in natural light. The combination of these modern elements with reclaimed timber and stonework creates a perfect balance between sustainability and luxury.
